This comprehensive multi-disciplinary full-text database is the largest among EBSCO databases. Provides access to  peer reviewed articles, magazine articles, theses and other academic resources from all subject areas. 

ACM Digital Library(external link)
This is a research, discovery and networking platform containing the full-text collection of all Association for Computing Machinery publications, including journals, conference proceedings, technical magazines, newsletters and books; a collection of curated and hosted full-text publications from select publishers and the ACM Guide to Computing Literature, a comprehensive bibliographic database focused exclusively on the field of computing.

ANZ Points of View Reference Centre (EBSCO)(external link)
Containing resources that present multiple sides of a current issue — including information on key topics of interest to Australia/New Zealand researchers — this database helps students realise and develop persuasive arguments and essays, better understand controversial issues and develop analytical thinking skills.

Bloomsbury Visual Arts(external link)
An interdisciplinary hub designed for research and learning across design, art, architecture, and related fields. This platform mainly facilitates thematic and chapter wise access to arts and media books from different collections. You can directly access the specific collections using the links below., or you can use the top link to access the whole platform.

Using the books dropdown menu option of the ‘content types’ tab above the search box, you can directly access whole books rather than chapters. It also includes a few subject guides and lesson plans.

A selection of business eBooks that include required texts for many courses, especially accounting and business. This collection specialises mainly on New Zealand Taxation, employment law and Human resource.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are not given a Borrow option, just click on Sign in button to access. Usually, books in this collection are available for online reading for one day loan. You can renew them, if number of simultaneous users are not exceeding publisher restrictions.

CCH iKnowConnect(external link)
An online platform that provides access to law resources related to New Zealand Business, Employment and HR, GST, income tax, insurance, property, superannuation, trusts and workplace health and safety. The latest edition of New Zealand master tax guide and its update is also available. It also features separate sections for trust precedents and news and articles related to New Zealand business law, taxation and related areas.

CINAHL Ultimate (EBSCO)(external link)
Cumulative Index of Nursing & Allied Health Literature is the largest database of content on nursing and allied health subjects including large collection of journal articles, evidence-based care sheets and quick lessons for overviews of major topics.

Clinical Key(external link)
Full-text access to a range of Elsevier's medical and surgical books, procedural videos, and images. By clicking on the books tab, you can access the A-Z list of books.

You need to register using your NMIT email id and a password of your choice. This will create an account which will give you full access. Ignore the 'more options' area.

This database aims to aggregate New Zealand-related digital resources at one place. DigitalNZ includes videos, newspapers, maps, photographs, audio recordings, artworks, news reports, and many other kinds of digital content. DOAJ is the world’s largest and extensive index of diverse open access journals from around the world. Rather than searching for journals, you can also do keyword search for articles. Title, abstract, subject, and author filters are also available.

DOAB is a discovery service that indexes and provides access to scholarly, peer-reviewed open access books and helps users to find trusted open access book publishers. Most books are available for free, full download, but for some, only chapters are available.

DISCOVERY (aka EDS or EBSCO DISCOVERY Service) searches our library’s online and physical resources through a single search.  You can find  and access full-text articles, e-journals,  eBooks, theses, reports, and also books and other resources from the Library's catalogue.

DynaMed topics are continuously updated as new information indicates a need for change in practice or improved understanding of the body of knowledge. Nursing Community College Collection(external link)
A collection of more than 110 eJournal titles which includes subscribes and open access journals from Ovid Nursing Vocational Extended Journal Collection. Also tick open access filter box below the search field to display open access journal titles. Apart from the main Nursing Community College Collection of health and nursing related journals, users also get access to Journals namely JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation, JBI Evidence Synthesis, and JBI Library of Systematic Reviews.

This is an open research repository that includes research, mainly theses and dissertations, produced by students and staff while affiliated with Unitec, Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), Otago Polytechnic, Toi Ohomai and Southern Institute of Technology (SIT),which are part of Te Pūkenga. This repository includes mainly recent research produced by these institutions. Though most resources on research bank are covered by Digital NZ(external link), recent titles may be available only on Research Bank.
